These terms explain how our website and planning services work, what you can expect from us and what we ask of you in return.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of freelnc.com and the personal finance planning, coaching and educational services provided by FreeLnc. By using the website or engaging our services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
FreeLnc provides personal finance planning, budgeting and debt coaching, retirement planning and investment planning guidance. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline and fee for each engagement are confirmed in a written engagement letter or email before work begins. Where there is a conflict between these terms and your engagement letter, the engagement letter applies.
Our recommendations depend on the information you provide. You agree to give complete and accurate information, to tell us promptly about material changes in your circumstances and to review your plan carefully before acting on it. You remain responsible for all financial decisions and for carrying out the actions in your plan.
Fees are agreed in writing in advance. Unless otherwise stated, plan fees are payable in two parts: a portion on acceptance of the engagement and the balance on delivery of the plan. Ongoing coaching is invoiced periodically in advance. Invoices are payable within fourteen days. We may pause work on overdue accounts after giving notice. Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a session. Sessions missed without notice may be counted as delivered. We will always try to accommodate genuine emergencies.
All website content, including text, graphics, logos and design, belongs to FreeLnc or its licensors. Plans and documents prepared for you are for your personal use. You may share them with your family and professional advisers but may not republish or sell them.
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code or use automated tools to copy content. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from incomplete or inaccurate information you provide, decisions you make that differ from our recommendations, market movements, or the acts of third-party product providers. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You may end an engagement at any time by written notice. We may end an engagement by written notice if continuing would be inappropriate, for example if required information is not provided or fees remain unpaid. Fees for work already completed remain payable.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at FreeLnc’s registered business address, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally.
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you engage us applies to that engagement unless we agree otherwise in writing.
